GROWFEST 2025 Recap

GROWFEST 2025 unfolded on a picture-perfect early fall day—warm, sunny, and brimming with joy. Smiles, laughter, and the crunch of freshly picked apples filled the orchard, making it clear that everyone who attended had a fabulous time.

Thank you to Cindy Hadish for joining us at GROWFEST! Her Homegrown Iowan story beautifully captured the heart of GROW and brought to life our fall celebration in vivid color.

It’s Been a Bumper Crop Year! This season brought a plentiful harvest, with GROW offering a colorful mix of organic apples 🍎, pumpkins 🎃, and gourds for sale.

Gnomes, Games & Giggles – From crafts and games to adventurous gnome hunts in the orchard, kids enjoyed all things GROW at this year’s festival.

Cravin’ Shavin’ kept festival-goers fueled with hot chocolate, coffee, pretzels, and snow cones—but with temps near 90°, snow cones were the runaway favorite!

Pressing Matters – Doug and Mary Jo Elam shared their expertise and enthusiasm, giving visitors a taste of the art—and science—behind pressing fresh, scrumptious cider.

Fall Flavors to Savor – From pumpkin breads to seasonal treats, the bake sale table offered a delicious taste of fall.
