Alyssa was the first Core Crew member and started as a member of the ARC work assessment program. Within no time, Alyssa led all activity in the greenhouse, planting seeds, watering and tending the plants. As new people joined the team, Alyssa would work side by side, offering instruction and support. 

When the baby chickens came to the farm, Alyssa quickly fell in love, caring for the babies and making sure they all received attention. She knew the babies would grow into friendly chickens by handling them with care as chicks. 

When the program with the ARC expired, Alyssa continued coming to the orchard because she loves the work. Alyssa loves being in nature, planting, taking care of animals and doing new projects.
